Mining for heating
Use Bitcoin mining to heat your home. A practical guide to mining as a heat source.
The idea is to use the surplus heat from miners to create a multifunctional solution that both heats the room and contributes to the Bitcoin network, while you're rewarded with sats. On top of that, many Bitcoin enthusiasts will probably find a project like this fun and educational.
One thing is regular space heating; another could be heating water for underfloor heating, the tap, the shower, a swimming pool, and so on. Further down the page there are links to more resources for learning about mining for heat, as well as ideas for how to get started with your own home-mining project. Like so much else, it might sound difficult and complicated, but there are good written and video guides that walk you through the process, and it's nowhere near as bad as you might think.
Hopefully more people will want to explore the possibilities of mining for heating — for a home, summer house, annex, shed, workshop, garage, warehouse, business premises, and so on.
Ready-made solutions
There are also companies that offer ready-made solutions, such as:
Build your own Bitcoin heater
But if you're up for making your own "Bitcoin heater", in the end it's just a computer that makes noise — noise we'd like to keep to a minimum. As mentioned, some good people have made detailed guides on how to do it. At 21Energy you can also buy an older, used S9 for your project. Below are links to guides on how to do it.
Cryptocloaks has made a nice guide. You can find it here: cryptocloaks.com/the-future-of-space-heaters-s9-bitcoin-asic

If you don't have access to a 3D printer, you can ask in the Telegram
group.
When mining, you also need to consider whether to mine with a mining pool, where you get a small but more stable reward, or whether to take your chances and solo mine. You can read more about solo mining here: Solo mining
YouTube videos about home mining
